제53회 백상예술대상이 3일 오후 서울 강남 코엑스에서 화려한 막을 열었다. 레드카펫에서는 대한민국 최고의 스타들이 한 자리에 총출동해 팬들의 마음을 사로잡았다. 이날 오후 9시 30분 서울 강남구 코엑스 D홀에서 개최되는 제 54회 백상예술대상은 신동엽, 수지, 박보검의 사회로 진행된다. 시상식은 영화, TV부문으로 나뉘어 진행된다. 올해 백상예술대상은 심사의 지평을 넓혔다. PD·작가·감독·제작사 대표 등 40명으로 구성된 예비후보평가단의 설문자료를 바탕으로 TV·영화 부문 각각 7인의 심사위원이 심사를 통해 최종 후보를 결정했다.

The award ceremony will be divided into film and TV. This year 's Grand Prize for the Art of White Art has broadened the scope of the examination. Based on the questionnaires of the preliminary candidate evaluation team consisting of 40 people including PD, writer, director, and production company representative, judging committee of seven each in the TV and movie division decided the final candidate through examination.
